Fame Music and Coffee House Sessions have teamed up to launch Stripped Back, the competition that searches for the best acoustic artists in the country.
The competition is open to all UK based singer-songwriters and the winner will be offered unique career opportunities to increase their fan base and media exposure.
If you fit the bill and want a chance of winning all you have to do is upload one original track and intro video to the Fame Music website, then from the 28th March the public can vote to select the Top 25 tracks which will be played to the judging panel. The final 15 will then have to upload a second track and Nina Nesbitt, Huw Stephens, Eric Appapoulay and the public will then select the winners who will perform at an exclusive industry and media event in London.
The final winner will then embark on the Coffee House Sessions London tour, where they will perform at 10 independent coffee houses in London with Nina Nesbitt between the 16th-20th May. Not only this, but they’ll also get to work with Eric Appapoulay at Abbey Road who will produce one track as well as an official video clip and international distribution.
Eric Appapoulay comments:
“For me, it’s all about the music. No egos. There’s no room for egos. Concentrate on the creative. As a producer, I want to bring out the best in you and how do I achieve that? The best way is to have an understanding of the artists vision. I am looking for a singer that is going to blow me away. Someone who has that emotion and that sensitivity.”
