MUSIC NEWS: Hard Rock Rising Searches For Unsigned Bands For Global Battle Of The Bands
Hard Rock International are on the hunt for unsigned acts to take the stage, in a competition to play during halftime at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins.
As part of this year’s Hard Rock Rising, artists and bands will compete across the globe at more than 125 Hard Rock Hotel, Cafe and Casino properties, including London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh in the UK.
If you’re an artist or band who would like to compete head over to the Hard Rock Rising website and register. Following registration entrants will be given a unique URL to share online with fans to vote. The act with the highest online votes will become the ‘wildcard’ winner for their local Hard Rock. Voting runs from 1st-6th May.
Regional finalists will win a Fender instruments prize pack, and a 1000 CD/DVD pack of the artist’s latest recording of video from Bison Disc.
The top three acts and one wildcard winner in each mark will perform as part of the Hard Rock Rising Battle Of The Bands competition, taking place globally between 18th-25th May. A panel of international music industry professionals will narrow the local cafe winners down to four regional finalists and one global grand prize winner.
