Linkin Park have announced a special show in honour of their bandmate and friend, Chester Bennington. This will be the first time the five members will be performing together since Chester passed away on the 20th July.
Taking place on the 27th October at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the band will be joined by a number of other artists, for an unforgettable night of music to honour the man who touched the lives of so many around the world.
General tickets are on sale tomorrow (22nd September) via the band’s website – the individual band members intend to contribute their fees from the event
to Music For Relief’s One More Light Fund in memory of Chester.
Linkin Park have also released a video for the title track to their latest album One More Night, directed by band member Joe Hahn and longtime band videographer Mark Fiore.
“It has been incredibly emotional to work on this, and especially to watch it,” Hahn says. “I feel that by doing it, we not only faced some of our biggest fears, but it enabled us to use our talents to bring some light to people who need it. As we move forward to the Hollywood Bowl show and beyond, I think about the people who connect with the band, outside and inside our circle. This video is a gesture of good will to the people who want that connection.”
