Jamie Lenman has released a video for his latest single Hardbeat, the fourth to be taken from his sophomore solo album Devolver – due for release on the 27th October via Big Scary Monsters.
“Hardbeat is one of if not my favourite track from the new album, and (album producer) Space and I were very excited when we were putting it together” Jamie explains. “It’s miles apart from anything I’ve done before, and after three pretty hard-rocking singles I’m psyched to put something out which pushes the more electronic and dance-able elements to the forefront. Lyrically it addresses a theme that has been developing for a while but really came into focus during my last tour, which is forming personal relationships with people I’ve never met through the music. As I go on my songs and my lyrics get more and more honest and intimate and this is about that – how what you’re getting on the record is eleven little pieces of me.”
