The Xcerts have announced that they will release their new EP Wildheart Dreaming on 29th March through Raygun Records.
The four-track EP was recorded during the trio’s recording sessions for 2018 Top 40 album Hold On To Your Heart. Fans don’t have to wait until March for their first taste of the EP, as the first single You Mean Everything will be released on 25th January.
When discussing the single, which was originally written as an ode to his family and friends, vocalist Murray Macleod explained: “It turned into a song for all the people I’ve never met. For the ones who feel alone, without self-worth, this song is for you. It’s a song about compassion which is the theme that runs through the EP and we are so psyched that these songs are finding their way into the world.”. Completing the tracklisting is Ready To Call, Fight or Run and Real Love.
It has also been announced The Xcerts will tour the UK in March and April in support of Wildheart Dreaming, but also to wrap up their successful album campaign. Kicking off in Dundee on 29th March it will see them headlining London’s Garage on April 9th. Be sure to get your tickets for their last tour before they head back into the studio to begin recording album number five.
