Soeur have released their brand new single Better, taken from their forthcoming EP No Show.
“I started writing this song about the frustrations of maintaining relationships with people who I thought were difficult to get on with,” explains vocalist/guitarist Tina Maynard. “It’s also about the stupidity of thinking like that. It’s like I’ve got it all figured out and everyone else must be missing something because we don’t see eye to eye; when actually, I really have nothing figured out and it’s way more helpful to agree to disagree, learn something from it and move on. So in the end, this song is a gentle reminder to myself to get down off my high horse and appreciate that we all live our lives in different ways, and that that is both okay and amazing.”
No Show is due for release on 23rd September, available to pre-order HERE.
