The Dunts have released a video for their latest single Marilyn, the first from the band to be released by 7 West Music.
“Viewed from the perspective of a distraught fan ‘Marilyn’ is spoken as a letter to the pop culture icon,” explains band member Colin McGachy. “The song delves into the mystery surrounding Marilyn Monroe’s death. Verging into the realm of conspiracies and cover up’s, the song also pays tribute to the poem ‘The Death Of Marilyn Monroe’ by Edwin Morgan’, a poet laureate from Glasgow.”
The Dunts have been confirmed to appear at the first-ever Hopscotch night in Glasgow next month, which sold out in two hours.
