Teddy Rocks Festival have announced that The Amazons (2nd May) and The Fratellis (3rd May) will headline their 2020 event.
Next year’s festival follows a highly successful 2019, where £107,000 was raised to help fight children’s cancer.
“We’re delighted to be headlining Teddy Rocks next year,” comments Matthew Thomson of The Amazons. “The festival does incredible work alongside Bone Cancer Research Trust to raise money for children with cancer. It’s a cause that means a lot to this band, so to be able to headline the festival and play our own part will be amazing.”
“The band can’t wait to headline Teddy Rocks 2020,” adds The Fratellis‘ Baz Fratelli. “We’ve been following the charity on social media for a while now and are delighted to be taking part in such a great event for a worthwhile cause that has always been close to our hearts.”
Teddy Rocks Festival have also partnered with Bone Cancer Research Trust for the 2020 event, and for the first time funds raised from the event will go to the vital work of both Teddy 20 and the Bone Cancer Research Trust.
“This years line up is something we are super proud of!” exclaims festival founder Tom Newton. “We are honoured to have The Fratellis with a huge catalogue of hits and a great live show – we cannot wait to bring them to Dorset. The Amazons have been doing huge things and smashing the tour circuit. With our production team on the case, it will be one hell of a show. Most importantly – our partnership with BCRT is something we’ve always dreamed of. It shows just how much potential the event has and the good we can do. It’s a truly wonderful way to keep Ted’s memory alive”
Teddy Rocks Festival takes place between 1st-3rd May 2020 at Charisworth Farm, Blandford, Dorset. For further information and tickets head to the festival website HERE.
