MUSIC NEWS: Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Trivium & In Flames Confirmed For ‘The Metal Tour Of The Year’ Live Stream Event
Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Trivium and In Flames come together tomorrow (12th June 2020) for a mammoth streaming event, The Metal Tour Of The Year, to celebrate what would have been the start of their North American tour. Tune into the event HERE at 10pm BST.
The stream will be hosted by SiriusXM’s Jose Mangin and will feature sets from all four bands, as well as an exclusive interview with each band prior to the broadcast of their set.
The bands will be streaming the following sets:
Megadeth – 2016 secret show from St Vitus in Brooklyn
Lamb Of God – February 2020 surprise show from House Of Vans in Chicago
Trivium – 2019 performance from DreamHack in Dallas
In Flames – 2019 headline set from the band’s own festival, Borgholm Brinner, in Sweden
The Metal Tour Of The Year will also be launching a brand new merch store featuring exclusive tour items, which will be available for 72 hours. A portion of the proceeds from the merch store will go to Live Nation’s Crew Nation charity, to help support live music crews whose work has been directly impacted by COVID-19.
The tour will also be partnering with Spotify and taking over their Kickass Metal playlist from 12th June 2020, featuring multiple songs from each band, plus many of the biggest metal tracks currently around.
