Ahead of the release of their album Split In Two next month, Broken Hands have released a lyric video for their new single For The Night.
Speaking of the single, frontman Dale Norton said: “For The Night as a song talks about being separated from loved ones during lengthy tours, which to be honest is exactly how I’ve felt during lock down as me and my partner have had to live separately. It’s crazy that life can separate us, regardless of our decisions. This track is definitely the odd one out on this record, but we think it’s important to show a different side of what we do musically. We thought what better way for a rock band to do that than release a ballad.”
Taken from their album Split In Two, which was produced by Julian Emery (Lissie, Nothing But Thieves) and mixed by Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Ghost), For The Night follows on from previous singles Can You Feel It, Friends House and Wrong Track. Fans who pre-order the album will gain access to an exclusive live stream performance the day before the release, where the band will play it in its entirety. The show will be recorded from the Arden Theatre in the band’s hometown of Faversham and filmed in collaboration with DogBrain Video Productions. Tickets for the live stream can also be purchased HERE.
Split In Two is released on 7th August 2020 via SO Recordings, available for pre-order HERE.
