Dub Pistols have released a video for their new single Cool Out Son, taken from their forthcoming album Addict. The track features Seanie T and Lindy Layton of Beats International.
“After the turbulence over the last few months, it’s time to take a step back, cool out and reflect on how to move forward as one,” comments Dub Pistols mastermind Barry Ashworth of the track.
Addict is due for release on 11th September 2020 via Sunday Best Recordings, available to pre-order HERE.
Dub Pistols‘ Mucky Weekender has been postponed to 2021, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The band have released the following statement:
“Firstly we would like to say a huge thank you for your amazing patience and support over the last few months. It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that Mucky Weekender 2020 will no longer be going ahead as planned. This decision has not been taken lightly and we are very aware of the impact this news will have for everyone, but it’s unavoidable given the current situation. The wellbeing of everyone involved in the festival alongside the wider local community is our top priority. The uncertainties around COVID-19 make it impossible for any of us to confidently plan and safely deliver an event this September. The conditions that would be imposed for us to go ahead would have meant we are unable to provide you with an event that would be in the spirit of Mucky Weekender.
We know this will be a huge disappointment to you, the artists involved and of course ourselves , we will come back stronger next year!
We will be rescheduling Mucky Weekender to September 2021. In the coming months we will be looking at moving the 2020 lineup over. Full details to be announced.
Tickets will automatically move over to 2021 or if you wish, ticket refunds will be available. Our ticketing partner Ticketlite will be in contact over the coming days with your options and full details will be published on our website. Stay Safe and see you all next year! Big Love, Barry, Deano, Biff, The Vines Family and all the team at Mucky Weekender”
