The Smashing Pumpkins have announced their eleventh studio album CYR, due for release on 27th November 2020 via Sumerian Records.
The 20-track full-length double album was produced by frontman Billy Corgan and recorded in Chicago, featuring founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, and guitarist Jeff Schroeder.
The Smashing Pumpkins have also revealed the trailer and details of their upcoming five-part animated series, In Ashes. The series was created by Billy Corgen and animation by Deep Sky. The first two episodes, As The Crow Flies and Inspirations, Aspirations, will be revealed on 25th September 2020, along with new music from the album.

The Smashing Pumpkins have been confirmed as headliners for the 2021 edition of Riot Fest in Chicago, as well as Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Ashbury Park, NJ.
