NEWMEDS have released their new single Twenty Three, taken from their forthcoming debut EP Nothing Is Heavier Than The Mind.
“I’ve struggled with Crohn’s since I was 12 and at around the age of 23 I really struggled to come to terms with being ill,” explains vocalist Nick Cobley. “Everything we eat, consume and do in this time and age can be harmful. I feel like it’s mainly about the poison we put in our bodies every day without realising, but also about the things we continue to do knowing they are harmful for ourselves and for the world.”
