Public Enemy have released a music video for GRID, featuring Cypress Hill and George Clinton. The track is taken from their recent album What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down, out now via Def Jam Recordings.
The album is the band’s first release for Def Jam Recordings in over two decades and sees them collaborating with a number of artists including Nas, Mark Jenkins, Run-DMC, Ice-T and more.
Directed by David C. Snyder, the video for GRID is set in the desert and sees them unable to rely on the usual forms of technology to connect with the outside world. Clips from Public Enemy‘s performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert are also shown during the video.
