Metalcore outfit Hollow Front have released a reimagined version of their song Loose Threads. The track features on the special reissue of their debut album Loose Threads, due for release in February 2021 via UNFD.
“Loose Threads was the manifestation of a plea/cry towards my best friend succumbing to his mental illness, and almost ending his life,” explains vocalist/guitarist Dakota Alvarez. “The song was written to express the wave of emotions I felt while reading what could’ve been his last texts, and trying to do everything in my power to get him to hold our bond strong enough to reconsider his decision.”
“We thought that creating this rendition would open up the ability for people to connect with our music on a deeper, more intimate level, and experience Hollow Front in a more vulnerable setting, artistically,” he adds, discussing the reimagined version of the song.
Loose Threads will be released via UNFD on vinyl for the first time in February 2021, featuring the full record, Loose Threads (Reimagined), previous single Wearing Thin and other new tracks. Limited copies are available for pre-order HERE.
