Porcupine Tree will release their 2012 live album, Octane Twisted, for the first time on vinyl on 16th April 2021. Originally released on 2CD+DVD, Octane Twisted will be released across seven sides in a 4LP boxset, with a new etching from long term designer Carl Glover.
Octane Twisted features the band’s 2009 album The Incident in its entirety, recorded in Chicago, as well as five classic Porcupine Tree tracks (also recorded in Chicago) and three tracks from the band’s show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
“Octane Twisted really captures the atmosphere and energy of a Porcupine Tree live concert experience,” says the band’s Gavin Harrison. “Recorded at a time when the band had the set well ‘played in’, you can hear the interaction between the band members as well as the audience as they navigate their way through The Incident and many other older songs too.”
Octane Twisted will be released on vinyl via Porcupine Tree‘s Transmission label, available to pre-order HERE.
