German metallers Oceans have announced a special live stream event, to celebrate the release of their new EP WE ARE NØT OKAY. The band will perform exclusive acoustic versions of songs from the EP and will reveal more details about the release.
Oceans have teamed up with famous moderator and YouTuber Alex Prinz AKA Der Dunkle Parabelritter who will host the event, which will focus on various topics surrounding mental health. They will also be joined by special guests Andy Dörner (Caliban), Lena Scissorhands (Infected Rain) and Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay), who all feature on their upcoming EP.
The live stream will take place on 2nd May 2021 at 7pm BST/8pm CEST via Der Dunkle Parabelritter‘s Twitch channel HERE. During the stream, fans will have the opportunity to communicate directly with the band via the chat, to ask questions or share their own experiences relating to mental health. All donations made during the event will go to the German NPO The Ocean In Your Mind, who will also participate in the stream and whose work is dedicated to those who struggle with their mental health.
Oceans‘ digital EP WE ARE NØT OKAY is due for release on 30th April 2021 via Nuclear Blast. Exclusive physical bundles of the EP, including a CD digipak and shirt limited to 200 copies, are available HERE.
