Slipknot have announced they will be returning to their home state for Knotfest Iowa which is returning to Iowa on 25th September 2021. The event will be taking place at National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, IA with Slipknot headlining the show.
“A home show is always insane, but a home “Knotfest” show will be on a whole other level. Prepare. See you soon for the new reality. Stay (sic),” says Clown on the event.
The full event line-up features Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, $uicide Boy$, Gojira, Trivium, Tech N9ne, FEVER 333, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Gatecreeper and Vended.
Slipknot have confirmed they returned to the studio last month to work on new material which will be the follow-up to 2019’s We Are Not Your Kind.
