Rise Against have released a video for their new single Talking To Ourselves, taken from their forthcoming album Nowhere Generation.
“I’ve never thought of our songs as ‘brave’ or ‘bold’,” says lyricist Tim McIlrath. “I think of them as just common sense. When you feel that no one is listening to you, you tend to talk louder, and when you feel no one notices you, you start doing things to get their attention. That’s what this song is about.”

Nowhere Generation is set for release on 4th June 2021 via Loma Vista Recordings, available to pre-order HERE.
To celebrate the release of their new album, Rough Trade will be hosting an interactive Q&A and acoustic performance by Tim McIlrath on 9th June 2021 at 7pm BST. The Zoom event is open to UK residents only – tickets and further details can be found HERE.
