Bloodstock has announced further names for this year’s event which takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire between 11th-15th August.
New additions include Netherhall who following Planet Rock Radio’s band competition will be opening the Sophie Lancaster stage on Saturday. Also announced are the winners of the second phase of Metal 2 The Masses who are Pearler, Struck/Down, Sound of Origin, Insurgent and Elder Druid who will all be performing on the New Blood stage on Friday. Taking to the New Blood stage on Saturday will be Kinzoku, Irontooth, Blood Church, Cotton Mouth, The Ghoules and Nassau.
The RAM Gallery will be returning to showcase heavy metal related art curated by Bloodstock founder and artist Paul Gregory. There will also be work from Judas Priest’s artistic collaborator Mark Wilkinson, Iron Maiden photographer John McMurtrie, CYNOSURE and Trivium’s painting from their In The Court Of The Dragon video alongside many more.
This year the event’s charity partners will be mental health charity MIND alongside related Patch Amnesty. Funds will also be raised for Derbyshire Blood Bikes who offer a free medical courier service to local NHS Hospitals.
The new additions will join previously announced headliners Devin Townsend (Friday), Kreator (Saturday) and Judas Priest (Sunday) along with many more artists across the weekend. Check out the line-up in full below.
Weekend tickets for the festival are sold out, however child tickets, parking tickets and a limited number of day tickets for this year’s event are available HERE.
