MUSIC NEWS: SUNLINER Announce New Single ‘Special Place In Hell’ & Share ‘Old Habits’ Video
Leeds quartet SUNLINER have announced details of their new single Special Place In Hell which is set for release on 15th September 2021 via Lockjaw Records.
The forthcoming single was produced by Frank Turner and vocalist Jake McAlister says of working with him: “It was absolutely amazing to work with Frank, we spent a weekend working on the songs at his studio on the coast, his producing was invaluable, and his enthusiasm is infectious!”
SUNLINER have also shared a video for Old Habits which is the single’s b-side and it showcases the band’s time in the studio with Turner. McAlister says of the track: “‘Old Habits’ came together really quickly, having our own practice space has given us an amazing chance to workshop our songs and really explore each part and experiment with structures. Lyrically, it’s from the perspective of somebody towards the end of their life, reflecting and struggling with their situation and ultimately giving advice never to waste a moment.”
