The Offspring have released a deluxe version of their latest album Let The Bad Times Roll, out now via Concord Records.
The record features two new songs: a live rendition of The Opioid Diaries; and an all French rendition of We Never Have Sex Anymore, properly titled as Guerre Sous Couvertures.
“The inspiration to record in French came from the core of the song – the lamenting of the loss of passion in a relationship – and to me, passion is very French,” says frontman Dexter Holland. I don’t know how to explain it but I feel so much passion whenever I’m in France and when I wrote this song, I thought it has to be done in French. So, we did it in French.”
