DAYTIME TV have released their brand new single communication, out now on streaming services.
“It can cut pretty deep when you dredge up old scars but I wanted to be honest with these lyrics. It’s one way of dealing with it,” explains the band’s Will Irvine.
“Sometimes things take a turn in a relationship and you’re left questioning why. Going round in circles trying to make sense of it forever after. It’s one of the more tormenting parts of human nature and can really mess with your head. We crave meaning and answers for everything.
“When it’s all said and done, maybe a little more communication when the first cracks started forming would’ve stopped the whole thing from falling apart. Maybe not. We’ll never know.
“My advice is: write a song about it. The pain bleeds out in the ink. Works every time.”
This November DAYTIME TV will embark on a UK headline tour, titled The Tour That Absolutely Will Happen. The band have also announced a one-off show supporting The LaFontaines.
