Defences have released a music video for their new single In The Black, taken from their forthcoming album In The Balance.
“In The Black dives into the darker side of loss and the effects it can have on us. Unexpectedly losing important people can feel like the end of your world, or like a part of or all of you has been taken with them. This song explores the thoughts and feelings that can come while grieving. Even when at our lowest points, there is something that drives us forward, wakes us up every day and keeps us breathing… There’s still sunlight, even behind the darkest of clouds,” comments vocalist Cherry Duesbury.
