MUSIC NEWS: Devon Kay & The Solutions Release Cover Of The Waitresses’ ‘Christmas Wrapping’

Devon Kay & The Solutions are getting into the festive spirit, with their cover of The Waitresses‘ 1980s classic Christmas Wrapping. 

“It’s such a great song for so many reasons!” Devon says. “It’s a meandering story about a burnt out person going home for Christmas, being overwhelmed by the holidays and trying to meet up with their hometown crush. It also boasts one of the best horn parts in Christmas song history. The Solutions chose a ska/punk/new wave back drop for their rendition of the song that really punctuates the playfulness of the original.”
