MUSIC NEWS: Weird Nightmare Announces Debut Album & Shares Video For ‘Searching For You’

Weird Nightmare, the new project from METZ guitarist and singer Alex Edkins have announce their self-titled debut album will be released on 20th May 2022.
The forthcoming full-length will see guest features from Canadian alt-pop artist Chad VanGaalen and Alicia Bognanno. Alongside the initial album announcement, the first single Searching For You has been shared. “It’s a fun, no nonsense rock ‘n’ roll song. It’s about searching for meaning and inspiration all around us. In my mind, the ‘you’ in the chorus refers to something bigger than companionship or love, it’s that intangible thing we all look for but never find,” explains Edkins.

Weird Nightmare will be released via Sub Pop on 20th May 2022 and is available to pre-order now.
