Joe Appleford has announced his debut album Dystopian Dreams, Utopian Nightmares, due for release on 19th August 2022 via AWAL.
“I want people to connect to the lyrics and draw parallels to things happening in their lives to make a positive change, whether that be removing the negative characters and events in life that we feel we have to tolerate, or recognising our own capability and believing that we can achieve whatever we want to,” he explains. “This album is about freedom. The freedom to do what you want to do without fear or limitation driven by archaic constructs.”
In light of the announcement, Appleford has also shared his new single Green.
