October Drift have released a video for their latest single Waltzer, taken from their upcoming album I Don’t Belong Anywhere.
“We wanted to make a video which visually encapsulated what the song was about,” the band explains. “We knew we wanted to film it at an empty seaside location, so we got up at 3am and drove to a beach in Dorset to shoot at sunrise. Somehow we roped a friend into getting up that early to pour the water over Kiran, but managed to misjudge the sunrise so ended up standing around in the dark for two hours before it was light enough to film anything. Not sure how many takes we did in the end, but it was enough to give Kiran mild hypothermia.”
