Returning to Portsmoth Guildhall, Takedown is finally back! On Saturday 8th April, this full-day festival will see the likes Loathe, Jamie Lenman, CLTDRP, Fearless Vampire Killers and many more of gracing it’s stages once again. Along with a brand new outdoor stage, this mammoth day will be headlined by, not one, but two monumental bands: masked misfits Sleep Token and explosive SKINDRED.
Co-directors of Divergent Festivals, Kai and Sarah Harris sharing, “even in these strange times it feels like the perfect time to be bringing back one of the best-loved one-day events on the South Coast, taking it back to our roots with one of the biggest line-ups Takedown has ever seen. We can’t wait!”
With Andy Grays, Chief Executive Officer of The Guildhall Trust, adding: “We are delighted to bring an alternative rock and metal festival to Portsmouth with a great calibre of artists already announced. Portsmouth has a fantastic music scene, but we felt like there was a gap for fans of this genre.”
