Straight out of touring, Real Terms have finally announced details surrounding their debut album Vantage. Due for release 24th February 2023 via Sofa Boy Records, Delta Sleep‘s new label.
Drummer, David Kelly, shares how “we named the album Vantage as it was a title that resonated with the songs on the album for us: attempting to gain perspective, or height, to see a way forward in a world that’s constantly changing. I think there’s also something about the different musical ‘perspectives’ we all bring together that makes our sound—the way our parts interweave and interlink and the perspective the listener can bring to it.”
Alongside this announcement, they also unveiled music video for their latest single, ‘Veil Is Thinner’ below:
Commenting on the video, front man John Crawford says: “We once again collaborated with our good friends Craig Sinclair and Chris Jenkins for this video. This was a wonderful idea they had which they generously gave to us, and which we thought paired well with the Sisyphean sense of helplessness in the lyrics of the song. It also reminded me of Flann O’Brien’s The Third Policeman, which is one of my very favourite books.”
