British guitar sensation Sophie Lloyd has released the first single off of her upcoming debut album, Imposter Syndrome. Do Or Die sees the shred extraordinaire team up with Inglorious frontman Nathan James for a high octane, hard rocking collaboration.

Expected to drop next year, Imposter Syndrome will be produced by famed studio wizard Romesh Dodangoda, who also produced Lloyd’s new single. Speaking on the announcement, Lloyd said:
“I can finally say that I have new music coming! All my music before was instrumental, so this is a very special release for me as it includes vocals, and some of the people we’ve worked with are people I used to have as posters on my wall as a kid, so it feels very full circle. It’s something that I have been working on before the first lockdown, and to be here talking about it feels amazing.”
Speaking on the collaboration between the two legendary musicians, James said:
“It was great working with Sophie on this track. I was sent the track without lyrics or melody and I wanted to write something that made sense, as if Sophie were saying it herself. The album title Imposter Syndrome helped steer me in the direction I took it lyrically. I think it’s a fun song and I really hope we get to do it live someday soon.”
At 27 Years Old, Sophie Lloyd is just getting started, with work on her debut solo album in progress and a few other items to tick off her bucket list.
