London two-piece Bob Vylan have won their first MOBO Award in the brand new Best Alternative Music Act Category. In a huge win for independent UK Music, the band’s acceptance speech garnered a huge crowd reaction, with vocalist Bobby detailing the band’s album release year and their decision to not work with the major labels.

The duo released their 2nd album Bob Vylan Presents: The Price Of Life earlier this year. A self-produced and self-mixed 100% independently released album that crashed into the UK album charts at number 18 – a first in history.
