Real Terms have released their new single Cacophony, taken from their forthcoming debut album VANTAGE.
Speaking about the track, vocalist/bassist John Crawford says, “The crushing realisation of all those times you looked for help from others, not realising that they were the times you were supposed to be working harder to help yourself. A tree can’t grow leaves for any other.”. He continues, “Instrumentally this is one of the songs on the album that made me realise we were re-connecting with our identity as a band, in the sense that where there was space to be filled, we did it by playing harder and singing louder, the idea being to add more power where previously we’d added more layers. The closing riff is one of my favourite bits in our live set.”
