Out 28th April via Rise Records, post-metalcore qurtet, Crown The Empire, are back with new album Dogma. To celebrate the band share title track
Fueled by existential identity crisis’, inner turmoil and isolation, both the LP and single explore an introspective side of genre-defying group. Vocalist, Andy Leo, shares how “the lyrics are less wordy and lofty. It’s more honest and direct.”. Yet, bassist and screamer, Hayden Tree, reassures that “we brought back the classic elements of Crown without taking anything away from what we’ve done more recently”.
Check it out below:
Tree also comments on how “the high-energy, fast-paced, hard-hitting riffs, with the band’s more melodic side, mashed together into an updated sound”. Already peppered with collaborations from Courtney LaPlante of Spirit Box (In Another Life), Dogma LP is also set to feature Palaye Royale’s Remington Leith, as well as previously released singles Immortalize and Dancing With The Dead. Making this an highly anticipated record in our books.
