Erupting onto the Czechoslovak’s post-hardcore scene in 2011, progressive-metalheads, Skywalker, firmly established their rank with their gut wrenching, crushing yet catchy sound. Yet, 2022 soared them to new heights when they took to Eurovision 2022 with the song, Way Down.
After signing with Easthaven Records in the same year, the quartet released Effigy and Penitent in celebration to joining the Easthaven family. And now they’re back with their next single, House of Glooom.
Marked as a “twist on the usual ethos of chasing dreams and finding solace in them”, the quartet share the track is about how “dreams can often become nightmares, a place where fears and insecurities surface to haunt us, and sometimes all we want is to wake up. The main message is: what really matters happens when you’re awake.”
They have also announced an upcoming UK/EU tour, supporting metalcore royalty ATTILA:
