ALT BLK ERA have released a lyric video for their new single Rockstar : LUNAR. The single is a polar response to the band’s 2022 single Rockstar.
“Rockstar: LUNAR offers an alternate view of the message carried in our earlier trap metal single Rockstar: SOLAR – which was full of scream rap, romanticising the lifestyle,” the sister duo explains. “This song takes on a much more sombre tone. It highlights that all that glitters is not gold – by exploring the gaslighting which can occur in harmful relationships. It then grows and develops to show – that the way out is through self-love.
“We can imagine our listeners lying on their beds and being totally transported by this song.”
