Blood Command have released a video for their new single Losing Faith. The track is an acoustic ballad, entwined with their death-pop sound which is familiar to fans.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Nikki Brumen explains, “When I met Yngve, we just clicked right away. I could really relate to Yngve’s lyric and the first night we sat down and wrote together was one of the best nights of my life. Writing felt seamless and what made this extra special is that we had both never written with anyone else. We sat in a hotel in the middle of London with a bottle of whiskey and Yngve explained how he wanted to write about someone denying their love but as the song progresses, it’s revealed how the person really feels. He had heard a sad cowboy song with a similar message, so we wanted to really hone in on that sound.”
Brumen continues, “When we were writing, we had also discussed ways to add dynamic to the new songs we were creating, and I think this song does this perfectly, with Yngve’s vocal throughout the whole song. Our voices work perfectly together and it gives it even more of a sad country feel with the duet.”
