Savage Hands have released a video for Halo, taken from their brand new EP Rock Bottom.
“Halo was inspired by a close person to Savage Hands, who is battling through very personal health problem,” explains vocalist Mikey Garrow. “I imagined as if I were that person and let out how I would feel about the entire situation and all others that had led to that point. Life always kicks us when we’re down and I chose to write the lines of encouragement at the end — ‘falling forward still means one step further’ — because I live by that statement day in and day out. I constantly write a lot about negative impacts on my life without showing people how I overcome these moments. I wanted to be real with everyone and show that we’re not just constantly being knocked down without standing back up.”
