Kid Brunswick has shared the music video for his new single Depression, taken from his new EP The Fall: Part 1.
“I started writing this song in 2020 during the pandemic. The original version was going to be my first single under Kid Brunswick, however I pulled it back and decided to work on the song a little more, because for a song titled ‘depression’, I wanted to pay more attention to the lyrics,” he explains.
“Lyrically & melodically, this track has 3 sections; Chaos, Euphoria & Death. I wrote this song to explain the process of what happens when someone who is mentally ill can experience when they’re not receiving the right treatment. I’ve lost friends to suicide. I know what not wanting to be here feels like. I just thought it would be cool if I opened up lyrically and spoke to people who feel the same way.”
The Fall: Part 1 is out now via Believe.
Kid Brunswick will be performing at Omeara in London tomorrow (22nd May) with support from King Isis, tickets are available HERE.
