Scouting For Girls have released their new single The Missing Part, taken from their upcoming album The Place We Used To Meet.
“Missing Part is the most upbeat, fun, catchy song we’ve written since She’s So Lovely,” says frontman Roy Stride. “That’s the vibe we were trying to capture. It’s the first song we’ve ever written with our new touring guitarist Nick Tsang. Nick has taken our live show to another level and has played with Ed Sheeran, Backstreet Boys, Jess Glynne, Sigrid and Busted! And this song is very much Scouting for Girls meets Busted meets Sigrid.
“I still get excited every time I play it, and my kids say it’s the best song I’ve ever written. They’re desperate for us to be big on something called TikTok and say this is the perfect song for it. I don’t know about TikTok but I can’t wait to play it on the upcoming November tour alongside all our other indie anthems.”
