Two Year Break have released a video for their new single Listen Up.
“Lyrically Listen Up is a rallying call,” the band explains. “As with previous singles its lyrical meaning is up for interpretation, but if Don’t Bring Me Down was about the frustration of toxicity, Listen Up is the wake up call to do something about it. When you reach the realisation of toxicity in a relationship, friendship or even leadership, it can be a challenge to build up the courage to do something about it. This song is telling you to DO IT. Stand up for yourself, make yourself heard, and rally the people around you to help.”
