Pop-punk outfit Bellwether have released a video for their new single Bloodline. The track features guest vocalist from Mikey Arthur of The Gloom In The Corner.
“Bloodline is our first attempt at writing a ‘heavy’ song, and is inspired by the characters Zuko and Ozai from the Avatar: The Last Airbender TV series,” explains guitarist Heath Joukhadar. “The song explores the strained father-son relationship between the two fictional characters, with Mikey Arthur from The Gloom In The Corner stepping in to portray the role of Ozai.”
“It was an absolute pleasure to jump on this track for Bellwether!” adds Arthur. “Their style reminds me a lot of the bands I grew up listening to with a modern and fresh polish. I’m thankful they asked me to sprinkle some Gloomy flavour into this banger!”
