VOWER, featuring ex-members of Black Peaks, Palm Reader and Toska, have announced their debut EP Apricity is set for release on 8th July via Apricity Records.
“Vower came to fruition at a time when everyone involved really needed it. Everything seemed to fall into place at the right time,” says vocalist Josh Mckeown. “The meaning of the word ‘Apricity’ is the warmth of the sun in winter and that is exactly what this collection of songs has become. We are so proud of these songs and what they represent at the start of this journey. More than anything we’re excited for what the future holds for Vower.”
The band have shared the video for their new single False Rituals. Speaking of the track, the band says, “False Rituals is a broad brush commentary on social media and specifically the negative aspects. The doom scrolling, the addiction and the anxiety it all creates. We feel this song perfectly encapsulates ‘our’ sound, and is a great pre-cursor for what’s to come,”
