Award-winning radio presenter Alyx Holcombe has announced her brand new, monthly event MANTRA. Hosted in conjunction with DHP and UTA, the immersive experience will bring live music, signings, DJ sets from Alyx and more to The Grace in Islington, London.
“MANTRA is an immersive fan experience,” Alyx explains. “There’s not a place anymore where you can have a meet and greet with an artist you’ve started loving which won’t cost an arm and a leg. The world of socials has taken away that real life human connection from bands and fans, their DMs are flooded and not every message can be replied to. I want to get the current and next generation excited about new bands again and help the bands create that solid network of fans. The artists on the line-up for these nights are ones I’ve championed from the start and truly believe in. Can’t wait for you to check them out!”
The first event will take place on 15th October 2024, with a debut headline set and single launch from unpeople. Support will come from alt-rock/shoegaze quintet Oversize.
