Arimea have released a video for their new single Orchid Street, the title track from their debut EP.
“To me, Orchid Street feels like the arrival at home,” says drummer Richard Stedman. “Musically, it’s a place I have been trying to get to for a long time, but it’s been difficult to find with every new genre and style holding up a big ‘come in’ sign above it, and It’s hard not to fall into the pit of sounding like everything else. I’m a person that struggles to convey my emotions with words, but I can with music, Orchid Street is the sound of my childhood and all of the memories I have attached to it, but dressed up for ready for the real world, emotionally ready, and knows what it is.”
