MUSIC NEWS: Clutch Launch ‘Clutch Collector’s Series’ With ‘Blast Tyrant’ Vinyl Release
Clutch have released a Blast Tyrant vinyl reissue to launch their Clutch Collector’s Series.
The vinyl series is released through their own label Weathermaker Music and will see the band release reimagined versions of a number of albums from their back catalogue. Each will be individually curated by a member of the band, in this case by drummer Jean-Paul Gaster.
“We are excited to make Blast Tyrant the first our Collector’s Series vinyl releases. For myself and many Clutch fans our Blast Tyrant album is a favourite. So many of the songs off of Blast Tyrant make their way into our live sets night after night. We’ve remastered this album and pressed it on 180 gram coloured vinyl to make this limited release truly special. We are proud to say the Collector’s Series version of Blast Tyrant sounds and looks even better than the original!,” comments Jean-Paul.
There are only 5000 units of the Blast Tyrant vinyl available in the series. The release has been remastered and manufactured onto 180-gram coloured vinyl, and comes with a gatefold jacket that has been printed on metallised polyester paper embossed with the official series seal. The double-disc set also includes a numbered insert autographed by the band.
