The Tyne have released their new single Demons, taken from their recently released debut EP Born On The Internet.
“We wrote Demons only a week before we recorded it for the EP!” the band explains. “The chorus came first and quite naturally, but there were a few different iterations of the verses that we experimented with before landing on those you hear on the track. The lyrics are about the battle with mental health so many of our generation struggle with. Also, the feeling of being scared to tell the truth about ourselves out of fear of being judged by those closest to us. We’re always listening to other artists and found ourselves very inspired by MGMT when working on this song, loving the blend of electronic sounds mixed in with our usual pop punk guitars.”
Born On The Internet will be released on 4th August 2022 via Slam Dunk Records, available to stream HERE.
