Coheed and Cambria have released a video for their standalone single The Joke. The track is taken from their Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind album sessions.
“The meaning behind The Joke is basically if you need a punching bag, I’ll be that guy,” explains vocalist Claudio Sanchez.
The Joke has been paired with B-side Deranged, previously released in 2011 as part of the Batman: Arkham City soundtrack.
Both songs are available digitally HERE via Evil Ink / Virgin Music.
Coheed and Cambria will be touring across the US between July and October, including shows with Primus and Incubus. The band will also appear at When We Were Young in Las Vegas, performing their 200t album Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness in full.
