After a brilliant few days at Y Not, we reached the closing day and were ready to pack it with some of the best live music on offer.

The sun was shining as we headed into the penultimate day of Y Not 2024.

We spent our weekend at Pikehall enjoying four packed days of live music, check out what happened on the Friday of the festival.

We were lucky enough to see Black Smoke Trigger play their first ever UK shows, supporting Bruce Dickinson in May. Their music definitely pulled us in and when they revealed their debut album 'Horizons' would be released this month we were looking forward to hearing it.
