Portuguese outfit The Voynich Code have been prowling the deathcore scene with their tech/prog infused recipe for filth ridden riffs for a while now, gaining highlights such as performing at UK Tech Fest in 2015. Now, they finally present their highly anticipated debut record Aqua Vitae.

Within the ever stirring world of metalcore, Beartooth are an American band who have been absolutely soaring over the past year or so. It is of no surprise that music fans across the globe were shocked at the announcement that The Dillinger Escape Plan's new record Dissociation would be the final resting point for the band, though ultimately for the highly respectable preservation of the band's own career. That, of course, brings us to the finale of one of the most explosive and enthralling bands to have torn apart stages worldwide.

We Are Carnivores headed down to Tech-Fest 2016 without any real objective of playing a set, yet they were asked to play on the final day of the festival to make up for some line-up changes on the bill. After a performance which most certainly acquired new fans for the band, we sat down to have a chat with them.

The very last day of UK Tech-Fest 2016 marks the first visit for headliners Between The Buried And Me. We caught up with bassist Dan Briggs for some thoughts and feelings on the festival, as well as some words about the band's latest release, Coma Ecliptic.

It’s one thing to incorporate more experimental ideas into your sound, but it’s another thing entirely to do so when you are one album in to your career, especially considering that one album made waves by delivering an already standout style. Such a statement would fit suit to the gambit made by Night Verses on their second album Into The Vanishing Night.
